A Weekend Spent at The Fun Farm at Sta. Elena

“Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show”

As a mother, I let my children experience different adventures, travel to different locations, meet new people, and not just be secluded at home. Seeing them get out of their comfort zone and achieve great things on their own. Hence, why I decided to make time and effort to go out with my kids at least every month when I don’t have work and they don’t have school.

Before I start, I wanted to be clear that this is not a paid post and I am not affiliated with The Fun Farm at Sta. Elena. I just want to share our experience visiting the farm as we start our journey trying out a different environment other than going to a mall. 🙂

Traveling to The Fun Farm at Sta. Elena requires a reservation. At the gate, I was asked for my name to confirm if it was included on their reservation list. To make a reservation, you just have to text or message them on their Facebook page.

We arrived on Sunday, at around 11:00 in the morning. We rarely go outside at the peak of this hour since I know how scorching hot it can be. But to my surprise, there were a lot of shades due to the number of trees on the farm. This makes me happy; hooray!

At the entrance, we paid a total of P1,200 plus the rabbit and guinea pig food (This is optional, btw). The Day rate is P400 per head (The same rate applies whether for a child/adult/companion). They offer a discount for Senior Citizen/PWD for P320.

Is the money worth it? Given all the activities they’ve listed on their site (see below), I think it’s worth it!

  • picnics, walking, strolling, biking around and in nature

  • use of rope and obstacle courses and playgrounds

  • animal viewing

  • garden maze

  • tree house viewing deck

  • rabbit and guinea pig feeding

  • mini zipline

  • mini row boating

  • horseback riding

We didn’t get to do mini row boating and horseback riding due to the lack of time; there’s even an option to ride a carabao ~ We’ll definitely try these once we come back!

My favorite part of our trip is when the kids get to try their Mini Zipline. It was my youngest son (4 years old) Railey’s first time experiencing this, I am impressed by the bravery of this little boy as well as how his Kuya Nathan (elder brother) demonstrated his support for his younger brother! These are the precious moments that make me smile whenever I look back seeing these pictures :)

I have listed some things that we would bring/do on our next visit:

  • Fooood and Drinks! (I didn’t know we can bring food and eat at one of their pavilions)

  • Chess

  • Soccer ball

  • Baseball

  • Basketball

  • Extra clothes! (Nathan got wet falling into the pond while crossing the rope, he said this is one of his most unforgettable experiences, with no injuries!)

  • Book

We’ll definitely come back more prepared! 😂 ♥
